Namashkaram. The internet may be replete with Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism digital libraries structured towards Dharmic goals. Achieving Hindu Rashtra could be a long haul but each of us shall play a role towards this ideal. In a small way, this blog is an additional pearl in Mata Saraswathi’s japamala of jnana. My Facebook postings over the years and E-books drafts are a direct inspiration. For now, please treat this to be a rough draft. Suggestions, corrections, amendments, proposals are very much appreciated. Pledges to contribute topical contents are acknowledged with gratitude. God’s windmills grind slowly but surely. This Sanatana Dharma Library targets about 200 odd main subject headings with drop-down menu. Over time, the subject index is hopefully fine-tuned for a comprehensive, convenient user-friendly source. The Madam’s Corner, may not be truth-seeking or connecting to a Higher Power per se. Surely, like my Facebook page, Shaktis would be visiting the Library intentionally. Otherwise, Bhojana, Ragam-Thaalam-Pallavi, are outright allurements for newcomers to visit the blog. It is imperative that juniors are trained in the ways of Dharma from a young age. Keshav’s Baalvikas contains notes from the internet to assist mothers to enable their kids to understand Dharmic relevance to their early life. Rudra Memories need not be for my own consumption. The folder is placed here to share the love of fur-kids especially waiting for the parents at the rainbow bridge. I had many happy years with Rudra. All this big talk of detachment or illusion…. it was never easy to bid goodbye. The Divine breaks some hearts to prove that He takes the best away. Rudra – the Self in her was the Self in me was the lesson taught by her as if one of Dattatreaya’s gurus. We are all full of gratitude towards the hundreds of Teachers, Gurus, Rishis, Yogis of the ancient times. They are unarguably considered as manifestation of the Divine or the Source of Creation. These pioneers of Dharma have left behind a massive knowledge repository for us to draw generously. Pada vandanam. Just as every ticking second of Mahakala creates a momentary change leaving behind various experiences, every day is also a day of learning. This site aims to engage not only mumukshus – seekers of jnana and satya but generally future generations in pursuit of Sanatana Dharma goals, Purushartas. One does not evolve as a mumukshu by rubbing perfumed oils etc. Certain dose of jnana and yoga practices is what keeps his or her mind calm, promote compassion alongside nishkama karma or selfless actions without attachments. Sanatana Dharma is Eternal Order, the intrinsic connections between elements, body, mind and spirit. We are taught to witness the Divine, not the sultans in the sky, but That which is divinely present in rocks, streams, plants, flowers, air, fire, space and in countless saguna and nirguna Deities. Sanatana Dharma means one is not to give up on Truths for one is born of truth, live with truth and finally merge in Truth. It is your own Consciousness to be learnt, loved and adored. The truth in your Self is also the truth in the other Self. Our Dharma believes in truth, reincarnation and liberation. It gives us complete freedom to pursue what one believes. It is therefore emphatically urged that you to find your own Truths. However, do not be mesmerized by personalities or commercial pseudos claiming their truths to be the ultimate truths or their paths the only way to moksha – liberation. Blind acceptance can be a slippery slope towards the yoke of slavery. This is made worse by commercialization of the spiritual process. Notwithstanding, no-one in this Blog claims to teach or transmit knowledge through the electronic media. The Library aims the creation of a data base. Hopefully data from here integrates into prior knowledge and experience of the seeker and for him or her to clear out ignorance or intellectual blocks – asatoma sadgamaya. Summa iru. Be still. Be silent. Just Be. Let go of your identity. Transcendent union of your mind with the Divine is not an impossibility through yogic methods of seating in silent contemplation. You can find inner peace – Shanti from where you are. The quest for enlightenment, or nirvana, or bliss is a long mystical but pleasant wait. It is an inner drive to fuse with a Higher Power. Our spiritual process was not without challenges. We gratefully acknowledge contributions from well-wishers remaining anonymous for the bridge, building structure and roofing. However, Anandashram building that was to create space and energy to facilitate Mauna Yoga fell prey to the universe conspiring to create a contradiction. It fell silent as we faced manifold hindrances – from technical loss to natural disasters; from health issues to finance. Despite a beautiful bridge linking the Ashram and the forest area, our Gangga, like any mighty river, is subject not just to Prakriti’s natural flow but overwhelming floods thrice. However, while the light of Anandashram physical appearance is delayed or flickering away, it was rekindled by the divine spark of Hirdayashram. One can suppose that the roots for that can be traced to Bhagawan Ramana Maharishi. Aspiring Hirdayashram – an ashram in the heart, means there are no rooms or forest to go to but to materialize spiritual convictions within one’s own inner guha-cave. After-all Anandashram was not intended as a patch of earth with just huts with star facilities. Passion for heart-based Mauna Yoga starts with an attitude of the mind, a powerful energy centre for self-transformation in absolute silence. This is an essential ingredient of Raja Yoga. Within a micro-second of intention and thought, there you are seated in your own ashram in forest environment. This, for want of a term, paves the way for heartfulness – heart- centered approach to life. Other than this being meditation yoga, no other labels are given. As mentioned earlier, yoga is aimed for you to be free with your truths, not enslaved. The Anandashram Facebook page contents shall be left unaltered for public consumption. It shall now be appropriately renamed as Hirdayashram. This Library project was delayed for more reasons than one. But our spirits refused to be hampered. So here we are with humble but blissful beginning in the name of anandavakya.com. Isavasyam Idam Sarvam – Ishwara has been eternally present together with TriShaktis showering abundant blessings. My Father, the late Sri Krishna M. Swamy’s divine presence is obviously felt alongside Guru and Shiva anugraha. On a personal note, may it be said that this Blog is not a piece of work by a Vedanti, Siddhanti or a silent monk meditating on a mountaintop. It is the product of a wondering mystic – a Piththan in search of Truth. Thanks must be said to the inventors of the internet facilitating the spreading of Dharmic information and knowledge. Thanks are also due to my writing utensils and laptop. Anantham, Paramanantham, Santhosham, Maghilzchi, Vaalgha, Valargha. Thus, Self.
